JOSEPH EKHUYA SIMEKHA – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mr. Ekhuya is a social policy analyst and a governance & leadership trainer with extensive experience in designing and developing civic education and political literacy training materials, training in and facilitating public policy and advocacy processes and facilitating organization development processes.
FRANCIS ANG’ILA AYWA – DIRECTOR
Mr. Aywa is a lawyer with over 15 years experience in development and governance work. His particular strengths are in legal research, project cycle management, process consulting, evaluations, organizational development, strategic planning and reviews, capacity strengthening and training. He has worked with a number of organizations in both governmental and the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) sector.
DANIEL M. IRUNGU – SENIOR ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
Mr. Irungu an institutional development practitioner with extensive experience working in civil society, particularly managing youth programmes. He has expertise in capacity building program development and management; strategic planning; organizational development (OD); fundraising; policy analysis; monitoring and evaluation; proposal development; report writing; project cycle management in democracy, governance, and youth; elections; political party development; parliamentary/legislative support.
LYNSEY FARRELL - SENIOR ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
Ms Farrell is an anthropologist with extensive volunteer service in the Kenyan civil society since the year 2002. She has solid experience working mainly on youth and women’s development programmes in Zimbabwe and Kenya. She heads the Kenya programme of the American University Study Abroad, based in Nairobi, and is a senior Associate Consultant.
JANET AWIMBO – SENIOR ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
Ms Awimbo has over twenty five years of experience as a researcher and development practitioner: designing, implementing and evaluating multidisciplinary projects addressing challenges and opportunities for human development, governance and resource management. She also has extensive experience working specifically with civil society organizations: facilitating and coordinating processes for complementary learning, communication and negotiation for improved governance and development.
AMBANI OSOGO – ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
Mr. Ambani is a lawyer with several years experience of Research on Human Rights, Constitutional Law, International Criminal Law, Philosophy, Democracy and Governance. He has an interest in Research in Human Rights, Constitutional Law, International Criminal Law, Philosophy, Democracy and Governance. He is currently a Consultant in Democracy, Governance and Human Right and also Law Lecturer at Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
ALUBALA KABOLE – ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
Mr. Alubala is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a specialist in Children’s law and Gender law. He possesses vast experience in writing, with numerous publications and conference papers, rapporteuring, legal research and drafting.
JUDY KABILLAH – PROGRAMME OFFICER – (PROGRAMME COORDINATION AND LIAISONS)
Judy is a programme Officer responsible for Programme Coordination and liaisons, Legal research and knowledge management. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
DIANA GATUMWA -PROGRAMME OFFICER (FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION)
Diana is the Finance and Administration Programme Officer. She has a working experience of 4 years in both public and private sector including but not limited to Electoral Commission of Kenya and Baclays Bank of Kenya. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce- Accounting option from Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
MAURICE ONYALO – ACCOUNTANT
Mr. Onyalo has over 20 years’ experience working in the manufacturing sector. He has wide experience in book-keeping, logistics and computerized accounting
ELIZABETH W. NJOROGE – OFFICE MANAGER
Ms Njoroge has a wealth of experience working in the business and non-governmental organizations sector on logistics, front office operations and customer relations.
MATILDA AGOYA AYWA – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT
Ms Agoya has over one year experience working in the IT Department. She also doubles as the Administrative Assistant.
